The deadline for the analogue switch-off has been extended to the end of March 2025. In a statement, the ministry says this will allow as many South Africans as possible to migrate before the final switch-off. Currently about 467 000 indigent households who are registered for government-provided set-top boxes have not received them. William Bird from Media Monitoring Africa joins us for more.
