It is incumbent upon SOS and MMA to respond to significant policy processes as they unfold to support the public interest in the outcomes of these processes. In this regard, on 28 January
2021, MMA hosted a roundtable with key stakeholders – including from government, industry, civil society and academia – to workshop the policy proposals being made as part of this
process in order to ensure that the present submission is reflective of a wide range of considered views.
