Ombudsman slams ANCYL over slurs

The ANC Youth League’s (ANCYL) scathing attack on the media’s self-regulatory system has drawn a strong rebuke from the Press Ombudsman.

Yesterday Press Ombudsman Joe Thloloe said that for ANCYL spokesman Floyd Shivambu to call the ombudsman “toothless” and “pathetically useless” was “irrelevant” and “extremely illogical”.
